After studying psychology at Appalachian State & NC State University, I began graduate school at UNC Charlotte. I earned my master's in School Counseling and a certificate in Play Therapy.

After graduation, I became a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). Concurrently for almost a decade, I worked in a middle school as a school counselor providing mental health support, teacher and parent consultation, 504/IEP accommodation recommendations, and group counseling.

Whether in a school or private practice, when providing therapy, I particularly resonate with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy, and Nature-Based Therapy.

​I am now a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) and offer clinical supervision for associate counselors working toward full licensure. I provide a supportive, collaborative supervision experience focused on professional growth, skill development, ethical practice, and building confidence as a developing clinician.
